QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Every time I buy this lotion base, there are so many bubbles after adding the water and mixing that the completed lotion loses 25-30% volume after a day or so. I’ve used the hand mixer mostly. I’ve used very hot water to just warm.
Hello,
We thank you for trying our lotion base out! Yes, When you whip the lotion a lot you will get air bubbles. We recommend letting your base sit in a container over the course a day or two, inside of a cooled area, To allow the air bubbles to settle. Once the lotion has settled feel free to package as desired. Please do not use water warmer than 150 degrees F'. IF your water is too hot you will burn out the preservative that's already incorporated into your base. Like many things you may need to find your technique when using our concentrated bases, but once you do you will be delighted. We hope this helped. -

Can butters such as mango, coco or olive butter be added? Are there any fragrances you would recommend not adding.
Hello,
We generally do not recommend adding additional additives to our lotion bases. The only products we have added to our lotion is distilled water, fragrance and essential oil, vitamin e, as well as cbd. If you would like to test adding additional products to our lotion bases, we cannot gurantee an outcome, but we do recommend testing in small batches that way you won't interrupt the whole tub of lotion. All of our fragrances and essential oils work well with our bases! Anything with vanilla may turn the lotion a slight tan color but that is a normal reaction!

Can I mix it with vitamins like A or E. Also I want to make a wrinkle cream but I want to used with fresh cucumber and aloe what you think because I need to warm the cream is this possible? Or not?
Hello!
We do not advise modifying the lotion base concentrate. We cannot gurantee the outcome of the lotion so please be cautious. We do allow small portions of oils to be added additionally to the lotion base like the vitamin A and E oil those would be good examples of oils you can add to your base at small amounts. BUT we do not advise whatsoever to add cucumber or aloe to this lotion base. Adding water based plants may not be the best idea for this base. There is a high risk of mold or bacteria developing. If it is an oil be sure to use small amounts.
We hope this helps!
